I am a huge F. Paul Wilson fangirl. I admit it with pride. Although I'm still catching up with all of the books in his brilliant, gut-wrenching, thriller-borderline-horror series, the books that I've read so far simply blow me away. The protagonist of the series -- a man known as Repairman Jack -- is one of the most intriguing, unique, complex characters I've ever read. Wilson's writing is evocative, engrossing, and can hit you like a solid punch to the solar plexis.
I've had the pleasure of meeting Paul, and managed not to completely gush all over him like a drooling mental case. Now I'm very excited that he is going to visit South Florida to do a special workshop and presentation for Florida Romance Writers on Saturday, November 8th.
No, I'm not rubbing it in that I get to hear him and you don't. You, too, can register to attend the workshop part of this super event in the morning and learn about Character Defined Through Point of View, Cross-Genre Writing, and Heroes & Villains. Not a writer? From 12:30 to 1:30, you can come to a Reading by F. Paul.
