Punxsutawney Phil, the weather prognosticating groundhog in Pennsylvania came out of this hole today, saw his shadow and ran back down.  (The cameras flashing, crowd of onlookers, and strange man in the top hat and tails didn't spook him.  Honest!)

According to legend, this means that we're doomed to suffer through six more weeks of winter.

Six.  More.  Weeks! 

Right now, the winter weather in the Keys is sunny with temps in the mid-to-upper 70s.

Damn.

Only six more weeks. 

Oh fret not...looking to other groundhogs around...early spring is in the lead! Maybe Phil is camera shy after all. The results so far:
